2025 Roadeo Stage Race Delivers Fire and Fierce Competition 🔥🚴♀️
Three days. Three towns. One unforgettable race.
The 2025 Roadeo Stage Race, held July 11–13, brought the heat—literally and figuratively—as 65 racers battled through a brutal mix of elevation, intensity, and head-to-head showdowns across western Montana.
From the punishing climbs of the Phillipsburg road stage to the blistering temperatures during the Missoula crit, this year’s Roadeo demanded everything from its riders—and rewarded fans with some of the most thrilling finishes we’ve ever seen.

Stage Breakdown:
Stage 1 – Gold Rush Time Trial:
The race kicked off in Drummond, with a fast, technical TT that set the early tone. Margins were tight, and the top riders wasted no time laying down serious wattage to claim early GC positions.

Stage 2 – Pintler Classic Road Race:
The queen stage, in Phillipsburg , was a grueling day of climbing which shattered the peloton, with attacks flying on the final ascent. The eventual stage winner launched a decisive move in the final kilometers of the sprint to the finish!
The course is a drop dead gorgeous 40 mile ride (2 laps for the upper categories) through rolling hills and beautiful waters.

Stage 3 – Bitter Critter Criterium:
With temperatures soaring and legs already torched, the crit at Fr. Missoula turned into a tactical war of attrition. A late-stage breakaway nearly stuck, but a roaring pack sprinted it down in the final stretch for a photo finish that had the crowd on its feet.
