Spirit Bear Mountain Bike Gran Fondo

This year, the Spirit Bear mountain bike race will include a little of everything!  The race starts at Herron Park.  The first leg will be a neutral roll out  for 2.5 miles, along the paved Foys Canyon Road. The race then officially starts at the bottom of the beautiful forested Patrick Creek Road.  You will climb this gravel road for about 9.5 miles, until you reach the trail head at Emmons Saddle.  From there, the fun continues onto the epic Foys to Blacktail single track trail for 8 miles to the Herron Park Trail System, at the top of the Upper Chase Trail.  The final  swoopy 4.5 miles of single track takes you to the finish in the lower meadow of Herron Park, making for a total ride of  24.5 miles, with 4200 ft elevation climb.  There will be options for one or two loops!
