Directions to Start/Registration:
From the north – turn right immediately after the Polson bridge and follow 1st Ave. W. south 5 blocks before turning right on 7th Ave. Follow this road out of town as it bends to the south and goes up a long hill. Just after the top of the hill, turn right onto Kerr Dam Rd. and head west up a short, steep hill. Follow this road for about 3 miles and Wayne’s house is on the right (just before the road drops downhill and turns hard left). The road changes from Kerr Dam Rd. to Valley View Rd. after it passes the turn-off to the dam.
From the south – turn left off of Hwy 93 onto Reservoir Rd. (about 4 miles south of Polson). There is a red thrift store called the Jolly Pack Rat on the left at this intersection. Follow Reservoir Rd. west for about 4 miles until it T’s into Back Rd. Turn right (north) and follow Back Rd. for about 1 mile before turning left onto Kerr Dam Rd. and heading west up a short, steep hill. Follow this road for about 3 miles and Wayne’s house is on the right (just before the road drops downhill and turns hard left). The road changes from Kerr Dam Rd. to Valley View Rd. after it passes the turn-off to the dam.
*We plan to start everyone at once (no categories), but less ambitious participants might choose instead to skip the Pickett/Irvine Loop section and go straight up to the finish line (35 miles total).
